🗺️ if you travel along the A44 somewhere around Chipping Norton and take a road off somewhere else, you’ll inevitably, at some point, by process of elimination, find yourself at the Rollright Stones. Ancient burial chambers, tales of petrified knights, witches and the remnants of a nuclear bunker lay dormant in the Oxfordshire landscape. We parked up in a lay-by in the afternoon of Imbolc for a wander and took in the remains of the day.
