I spent my first day in Japan exploring the streets of Gakugei-daigaku on a slow and rainy Wednesday morning. The town was quiet as a light rain fell into the background- creating a moody atmosphere I had so much fun photographing.
It was a very pleasant way to spend my first day in Japan- at my own pace, wandering without an agenda and stumbling into quaint coffee shops in between photos. I loved how most people used clear umbrellas as I think it makes the photos look just a bit more aesthetic and I didn’t mind shooting in the rain one bit - I was just happy to be there.
