18 YEARS OF STEADY GUIDANCE
This year marks a remarkable milestone for the Royal Naval Association Veteran Mentors at HMS Raleigh — 18 years of continuous service supporting new Royal Navy recruits.
For nearly two decades, RNA mentors have stood alongside Phase One recruits at some of the toughest moments in their early careers, offering calm, reassurance, and lived experience when it matters most.

To mark VE Day 81, the Royal Naval Association supported Second World War veterans Dorothy Walsh, Betty Withers and Ken Arkell at a special afternoon tea at Number 10 Downing Street.
From codebreaking and D-Day preparations to service at sea, each story reflects courage, resilience and duty.
81 years on, we continue to remember those who served and the sacrifices made for future generations.
Lest we forget.

Wellbeing Wednesday: Where Everyone Is Welcome: Prostate Cancer Awareness
Wednesday 13 May | 7.00 – 8.00 pm
Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting men, yet it is often misunderstood and, too frequently, talked about too late. As part of our Wellbeing Wednesday programme, we are pleased to host a rescheduled Prostate Cancer Awareness session, open to everyone.
This session aims to raise awareness, challenge assumptions, and encourage open conversation about a condition that affects hundreds of thousands of families across the UK. Importantly, while prostate cancer affects men, this session is open to both men and women, recognising the vital role that partners, families, and friends play in awareness and early support.
