is among the artists participating in Ghost Track, a project promoted by MAC - Milano Art Community and Milano Art Week, which places works by artists connected to MAC member spaces within the exhibition routes of Milan’s civic museums. In musical terminology, a “ghost track” is a hidden track: a piece concealed at the end of an album that does not appear on the official tracklist, a silent presence revealed only to those who keep listening beyond the expected limit. The works enter into dialogue with the permanent collections, inhabiting the spaces as unexpected guests that open up new possible narratives. RM, (former Real Madrid) For all intents and purposes 2025 Variable dimensions A disposable object displaced from its function and reorganized into a fragile form of luxury, of value and class. NEW ON OUR SHELVES The work of RM (formerly Real Madrid), which was founded in Geneva in 2015, homes in on the intersection between sexuality, consumerism, identity, and physicality. In sprawling sculptural and installation projects, RM scrutinizes social and political responses to stigmatized sexually transmitted diseases and infections, up to and including the stigma of death. Their work is distinguished by its precise formal vocabulary, references to pop culture, and shrewd sense of humor. On occasion of the project’s tenth anniversary, they release their first monograph, titled “Decay”. The book’s formal design recalls sticker albums for soccer fans, a medium that unleashed a craze for collecting and trading stickers when it came on the market in the 1960s. Each book contains ten stickers. A conversation between Melanie Buhler and the duo provides an introduction to their practice; with additional contributions by the poet and writer Eileen Myles and the artist Lili Reynaud-Dewar, among others. Stay tuned for upcoming book launches in Milan and Berlin! For more information about the book, visit our website. #distanzverlag #distanzpublishing @rmrm.info @melaniebue @eileen.myles @furieuxboy Design by @neverenver

If you happen to walk through Plainpalais in Geneva, look up. Among all the other beautiful light installations that have been there for years, now there’s this “Ligne-de-Linge”. A line of hanging clothes, left to dry in a hypothetical sun.
Strange enough this clothesline concludes a collaborative cycle marked by a lot of naked selfies (and if you need context, read caption on the previous post). There is an official opening on THURSDAY around 6pm so if you’re around, come and say hi. @neonparallax @fmac.geneve @ville_de_geneve @geneve_ville_culture @ge_culture @simon_lamuniere Pic Serge Fruehauf; Courtesy RM (collaborative) @martinasimeti

Hello peers, friends, exes, nextes. We wanted to update you about some changes in RM. After long consideration, Bianca has decided to take an indefinite break and move in a new direction. Marco will continue the name as a (for now) solo project. We’re both sure RM will keep changing and growing. It’s been 10 amazing years together and we’re happy to be collecting them in the book DECAY: a monograph coming out next January 2026. It’s time for rerouting. Love. Last two days to visit RM’s show at Kunstmuseum St Gallen. Anus Horribilis is the first museum exhibition of the artist duo RM which features works specifically created for the LOK, the Kunstmuseum St. Gallen’s second venue. The practice of this artist collective (formerly Real Madrid) founded in 2015 in Geneva, is situated at the intersection of sexuality, consumption, and identity. With previous large-scale sculptures and installations, RM has investigated social and political reactions to stigmatized sexually transmitted diseases and infections. For Anus Horribilis the duo is now taking this thematic exploration further, right up to the last stigma – that of dying. In the show, a series of wooden figures are scattered around the room. These are based on what are known as tangrams, Chinese wooden games in which pieces can be put together to create different shapes. RM has made their wooden figures from coffin parts. The reference to the game—where forms are arranged, dissolved and made into new figures—alludes to the body’s ability to transform itself. The wooden figures in the exhibition space are archetypal everyday objects: a shoe, a key, a hammer, a T-shirt, a cup. They evoke a daily reality filled with objects that are handled and used frequently, only becoming static after the person using them dies.
