Shoutout to Shawn Loseke, our #RMCAD Photography Program Lead, for this weekโs #FacultyFriday!
Shawn James Loseke is a Fine Art Photographer that enjoys the exploration of alternative photographic processes, alternative cameras and traditional practices. He is currently exploring a pictorialism approach to his photography that tends to lean into the abstract and includes his open-minded approach to photography into his classroom experience.
"Once the water drops hit the plant I had to take the opportunity to capture the perfect moment. The image almost doesn't feel real, but I've seen it for myself and I loved capturing this moment." #Photography #artstudent

"This experimental piece was my final project in Life Drawing II at RMCAD. I had a lot of fun experimenting with lighting, composition, and color with this piece and it was really cool to see my vision come together. I spent roughly 12 hours on this piece and am very satisfied with the final result." #3DAnimation #Animation #artstudent
Awesome work from Jonah Moore, a current #RMCAD 3D Animation student. Check out more of his work at jonahray.artstation.com or @jonahrenders .

Check out this weekโs #FacultyFriday highlight, Noah Travis Phillips, Fine Arts and Foundations Assistant Professor!
Noah Travis Phillips is an artist, educator, and scholar exploring a mythic anthropocene and posthuman world through appropriation, remix, and digital/analog collage. Their work spans 2D/3D digital fabrication, video, installation, and performance. Phillips is an Assistant Professor & Z-Space (FabLab) Coordinator at RMCAD. They have exhibited extensively locally, nationally, internationally, and virtually. They live and work in Boulder, Colorado. This framed college poster anchors a constellation of mixed media including graphite, GAN collages, lasercut wood, and UV prints. Through cinematic drama and maximalist composition, it emphasizes interrelationship and the urgency of the present moment, personal, environmental, and posthuman anthropocene.
"I created these pieces during my time at RMCAD. I had a ton of fun creating these, and I feel that during my time at RMCAD my work has greatly improved. I'm grateful to have the opportunity to learn new programs, and attempt art pieces I would never think to create." #animation #2DAnimation #artist
