Ever wonder what goes on behind the scenes when an epic destination like Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise comes to life?✨
Basin Glacial Waters isn’t just a spa. It’s a dream sculpted into the Rockies, where every pool, sauna, and fire lit patio was imagined with precision and artistry. Behind it all, the team at @rjc_engineers turned bold vision into reality, blending design, structure, and a touch of magic.🌿❄️
A place to breathe, revive, and reconnect... one you’ll want to experience firsthand.

Did you know Toronto is home to one of Canada's last remaining Edwardian-era glass conservatories?
For over 115 years, the Allan Gardens Palm House has stood as a glowing jewel and a lush green sanctuary in the heart of downtown Toronto. Now, this Edwardian-era architectural masterpiece has officially entered its next century. 🏛️✨
Following a massive $11-million revitalization led by the City of Toronto, Zeidler Architecture, and AREA heritage architects, the Palm House has been meticulously restored and modernized. From the reinstatement of its original 1909 east portico entrance to the state-of-the-art fritted glass panels lining its iconic 16-sided central dome, the project beautifully blends heritage conservation with modern sustainability and accessibility.
Even better? The project was just honoured with the prestigious Lieutenant Governor's Ontario Heritage Award for Excellence in Conservation! 🏆

Look closely 👀 This bear sculpture is made possible with 11,530 food can donations. Our design for @canstructionto 🐻 🥫
It’s an annual competition to raise awareness & close the hunger gap by supporting @dailybreadto 💛
For our second year in a row, we snagged a win for “Most Cans” donated!
And for the first time ever, we took home another award for “Best Meal.” 🏆 🎉 This means our food donations rank highest for their ability to make a meal that’s nutritious & high impact.
Named “Every Catch Counts,” our design challenges people who pass by to think deeper.
💡 Because like a bear catching a fish to survive, every meal matters.
For many in our community, that same sense of survival is a daily reality — but without the certainty of a “catch.”
Let’s change that, together. Donate via our Link in Bio. $21K & counting.
Thanks a bunch to those who already have & also to our fantastic sponsors!
P.S. If you’re in Toronto, check out our build in person at @firstcanadianplace 🙌
✨ Thank You to Everyone Behind the Meeting Point Co-Design Challenge ✨
Over the four days of Design Victoria 2026, The Meeting Point transformed the Rotunda into a vibrant hub for creativity, conversation and community connection.
Emerging from the Design Victoria Meeting Point Co-Design Challenge, the installation reimagined the Design Victoria “DV” as both a sculptural gathering place and a participatory design project — an evolving reflection of the collaborative spirit that shaped it.

We also want to extend a special thank you to @jawlproperties for generously hosting the Meeting Point in the Rotunda and creating a welcoming place for the community to gather throughout the festival.
And finally — thank you to everyone who participated in the co-design sessions and contributed ideas, energy and creativity along the way. This project was a reminder of what can happen when a design community comes together. We were able to capture a few images of our exhibition that documented the concepts coming out of the Co-Design Challenge.

The first facility of its kind in North America, National Music Centre’s Studio Bell @nmc_canada is a landmark for Calgary’s East Village and a hub for Canadian music. Kasian served as associate architects alongside Allied Works, helping deliver a building whose curves echo Alberta’s foothills and whose foundation holds the original bricks of the restored King Eddy Hotel.

🏙️ 👷♀️ Day & night at Glenbow’s revitalized home, the JR Shaw Centre for Arts & Culture.
Our Calgary crew works hard to help create a better & brighter home for Western Canada’s biggest art collection.
This is a project that calls for levelling up a 1970s building with 33K artworks inside.
The revamped space is one that celebrates natural light. 🙌 ✨ We’re talking 300K+ sq. ft. with lots of windows & open, double-height galleries.
Did you know the Centre is well on its way to make Canadian history?
When it reopens in 2027, it will have free admission for all. That’s a first for any major museum in the country.
Are you ready for it? 💭
