If you have a boy who loves war planes, I highly recommend going to the PDK airport to go see two WWII-era planes, the B-25 Mitchell and the B-17 Flying Fortress, on tour until Sunday! Owen has a new found love of war planes and in Washington DC, he decided his favorite was the B-25… what a treat to tour a fully operational B-25 plane today! ✈️🧒🏼🩵
I wish every day could be Mother’s Day! ☀️💛✨ The weekend started off strong with Muffins with Mom at Wesleyan, a special mothers chapel, Jessie’s son’s birthday party yesterday, Chastain Park artists market, gorgeous sunset, then bucket list brunch at Swan Coach House with my beautiful boys, and Dunwoody artists market, got to see Danielle! So much to be thankful for!
Mother Son Game Night was so special this year! The first grade moms organized a really fun pre-party at a nearby park and it was also Xavier’s last year to participate as he will be in middle school next year! 🥹💚 So many fun memories especially the dance with Xavier at the end!….minus getting twerked on. 🤦🏼♀️🕺🏻🕺🏻🪩
🇺🇸This Land Is Your Land, This Land is My Land🇺🇸🎵We had a great time touring our nation’s capital in Washington DC over spring break! The trip was spurred by Owen’s years-long wish to see the Washington Monument. ☺️ We were fortunate to get tickets twice taking the elevator to the top. Every day was jam packed with educational activities, cool museums, monuments, and SO many gift shops!
Another season of lacrosse is upon us! Will is coaching the 4th-5th grade boys and Owen is embarking on his first sports season ever! 😳💪 They kicked off the season getting to play on the field at the Georgia Swarm game and lots of fun was had! 🥍Owen got to be a deer 🦌 in the Three Piggy Opera play at school! 🐷🐷🐷🎭
Its always fun having the boys off of school for an extended period of time! We tried to balance Christmas break with leisure days, small day trips, good food, and making memories together. Everyone is back at the grind now but remembering these few weeks with happy thoughts! ☀️❄️🏰⛸️🌟
Christmas Day felt extra cozy this year! 🤍 Grateful for this sweet season when the boys still love toys and proudly gift handmade school art. Cherishing the quiet moments, unhurried time together, and the simple magic of being home. 🎄✨
We loved getting to spend Christmas Eve with our Jacques/Malloy family! After seeing lots of fb posts this month for solo cup games, we tried a few and they were a big hit for the kids! We ended the night with a great candlelight service at Bill’s church! 💚❤️💚
Xavier and a few of his buddies braved the cold weather for a round of 18 holes of golf this weekend! They were all such good golfers and Will, our sweet Neighbor Nicholas, and I had fun caddying them around and listening to the 10 year old smack talking! 🤪⛳️❄️🎈
