At the Faculty Development Program on "Advancing Social Entrepreneurship in Agriculture for Sustainable Peacebuilding" at PMAS Arid Agriculture University, Rawalpindi by UNODC, Rizq had the opportunity to contribute to important conversations around the future of agriculture, technology and inclusive growth in Pakistan. Representing Rizq, Dr. Mahmood Ahmad shared insights on leveraging AI and digital tools for smarter agri supply chains, highlighting how technology can improve efficiency across Pakistan’s agricultural ecosystem. Musa Aamir spoke about GroRizq’s journey from community agriculture to commercial scale, reflecting on how mission-driven agri enterprises can create sustainable impact while building stronger market linkages for farmers. The sessions also explored the Rizq Kisaan Dost Program as a model for socially responsible agriculture focusing on farmer empowerment, access to quality inputs, and sustainable value chains. Conversations like these are important as they continuously remind us that the future of food security lies with strengthening our farmers - and Rizq is ensuring that.
