While in Japan, we took a small hike along a scenic route to hang out and take pictures in Kyoto. We strolled around Gion and Lake Biwa, and it was packed with people. We managed to find this absolutely beautiful location along our path that was completely empty outside of the welcoming staff. I got some amazing shots here, so look forward to more to come. When I was walking through the hallway wearing my cosplay, the first compliment I received was about this corset, and it made me so happy. I used ice wool for the first time to make it, and it definitely didn’t disappoint. I cosplayed Shinku again after seven years. Good thing AnimeNJ++ had rose bushes right outside the hotel, so @rizhalltime was able to take some great shots. The dress had a few minor snags due to the satin fabric. I tried to steam it as much as possible before wearing so it would look clean.
