Mambazham, anybody? 🥭
One of my fondest memories from childhood is fruit picking, with my grandparents. My role was to stand beside them and hold the picker baskets, while they plucked the mangoes, chikoos and water apples from the trees.
ഉമ്മ
My work, titled ‘Umma’ (translating to ‘mother’ in Malayalam), is a dedication to the women in my family. We tend to view women solely through the lens of caregiving, overlooking the fact that they are individuals with dreams, ambitions and lives of their own. Through our lens we strip their individuality and self identity, that was built on their thoughts, interests, challenges and struggles. This piece is a reminder that before they became our ummas, they were dreamers, architects, poets, and resilient souls.

For a long time, my desire to be taken seriously stopped me from making art that felt true to me. I’m always looking up at the sky, trees, bits of architecture and imagining fairies, animals, small magical worlds tucked into everyday corners. I build these tiny scenes in my head and then brush them aside, embarrassed by the silliness of it all.
But there’s joy in that distraction. That’s my mind making art - wandering, noticing, playing.
The truth is, those quiet, whimsical moments are what make me happiest 🧚⭐️

It’s been a minute since I made a festive illustration. My walks lately have been filled with tiny rituals, glowing windows, and Christmas magic, so I couldn’t resist drawing one of my evening scenes.
With love, this season <3

Diary Entry — Girl Loft : Pixie Hollow (Autumn Edition) 🍁🐿️
The leaves are turning outside, and the air smells like rain and earth. My little loft feels like its own hidden world — quiet, golden, and completely mine.
Autumn side quests I’m on: Sometimes I walk by the river and feed the squirrels that come out to play. And I bring tulips home and watch them bloom by the window.
This monogram project, in collaboration with @the_collaborative_laboratory ,turned into a three-week deep dive into ornamental lettering.
Pulled inspos from gothic window tracery, botanical stitches, and a bit of vintage baroque. Went a little bit theatrical with this one, played with different compositions, and historical references, but i especially love the very first concept: a vertical monogram, framed with vine-like tendrils. i’m a total geek of gothic architecture, so it’s always a win when the brief lets me lean into that✨
Made this quirky little illustration as part of a branding project while I was at @whoamamadesign . It was one of the identity directions I presented, that didn’t make the final cut, but still one of my favourites.
For most people, trying filter coffee is a must-do when visiting Chennai. I never thought I’d be one of them because coffee was never really my thing. But somewhere between the early mornings and that first warm, slightly bitter sip from brass tumblers it quietly became one of my fondest memories of the city.
This one’s been waiting patiently since February ~
We teamed up with @the_collaborative_laboratory to create something cute and special for Valentine’s — a little box of love coupons to make your heart (and theirs) smile.
It may have started as a Valentine’s idea, but this box is made for all the random, wholesome, everyday moments that deserve to feel a little more special.
Pull one, share the love, repeat 💌
With love,
