RNP's fifth annual Fish Fest is coming up on May 30th at the Frankford Boat Launch! This free, family-friendly day will be stacked with different ways to experience the Delaware River.
Thanks to MidAtlantic Youth Anglers & PA Fish & Boat Commission, you'll be able to try your hand at fishing the Delaware. Just like our weekly Learn to Fish program, all equipment and instruction are provided! Grab a fishing rod, cast your line, and see how many you can catch 🎣

Frankford Boat Launch dock update 📣
On May 10, a boat fire occurred at the Frankford Boat Launch. Thankfully, no one was injured, though the dock sustained additional damage. This comes after damage caused by ice over the winter, which has already kept the dock closed this season.
@philaparkandrec and RNP have been working together to secure repairs, and construction is expected to begin in late summer. In the meantime, the boat ramps remain open to the public during the park's open hours.

This week's workshop, Compost Magic!
Learn how composting turns everyday food scraps into nutrient-rich soil through a simple, hands-on process. Participants will sort organic materials into “greens” and “browns,” build a small compost system, and take their compost home to continue the process. Along the way, families will observe decomposition in action and learn how compost supports healthier soil and a more sustainable environment.
