Over the years, my travels sourcing coffee has taken me to some incredible places. From the peaks of the Peruvian Andes to the rich volcanic soils of Nicaragua, I’ve had the privilege of walking the fields with farmers who dedicate their lives to growing exceptional coffee.
This new design is inspired by those journeys.
The flow of the river represents not only our local River Bottom on the Potomac River but the long path coffee takes from mountain farms to our roaster and into your cup. The coffee branch symbolizes the farmers and families who work tirelessly to produce the best coffees in the world.
But for me, sourcing coffee has never been just about flavor. It’s about relationships, fairness, and community.
Standing in those mountain villages, talking with growers, and working together to ensure they receive a higher price for their hard work and dedication has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. Along the way we’ve also been able to partner on social impact projects that help strengthen communities, from our hometown all the way to remote villages deep in coffee growing regions.
Coffee has a way of connecting people across cultures, landscapes, and continents.
This new mark is a small tribute to those connections.
