Two years ago, RiverArts presented a powerful tribute to women composers and promised to continue bringing the richness of their work to our community. ** This Sunday, March 8th, RiverArts is making good on that promise. ** For generations, extraordinary women composed brilliant music, often without the publication, recognition, or opportunity their male counterparts received. On International Women’s Day, we proudly honor their talent and power as part of our chamber music tradition. It’s a small gesture in righting the imbalances of the past, and a meaningful one. Join RiverArts on Sunday as the Solace Trio performs works from women composers spanning two centuries! >>tickets available at the link in bio <<
