Wearing his trusted Custom Rival RFX-Guerrero Pro Fight Gloves, Benavidez used his handspeed and power to defeat fellow champion Zurdo Ramirez. Both men showed what it takes to be a great Mexican fighter as they bravely traded blows in the ring for six rounds. David’s power proved too much; he scored knockdowns in the fourth and sixth rounds for a ten count.
