PALM & SOLE CARNAVAL 2026🪘🤲🏽🦶🏾 🤲🏽Palm and Sole🦶🏾 We follow the footsteps of our ancestors, the joy and the struggle. In rural villages or urban streets, rich soil or concrete. The cultural traditions flow through our spirit. From our feet to our hands and out of our voices. We, children of the drum, we play, we sing, and we dance. A Mission District collaboration between Everett Middle School and Batuki. This year’s participation in the parade is a culmination of Palm and Sole; A week-long music and dance conference highlighting the Afro-Brazilian cultural art forms. Featuring master artists from Brazil and Europe. These Brazilian all-stars have been here for a week performing, teaching workshops, and speaking on community panels about the history and impact of the Brazilian arts and its deep connection to the San Francisco Bay Area. THIS SATURDAY APRIL 11th we will begin our Carnaval rehearsals at Everett!
