I studied the SH*T outa the practical FX in this movie as a young lad. No CGI, just straight up Rick Baker practical FX wizardry.
That insane transformation scene? It’s the only one in a fully lit room. No shadows to hide behind, just full blown body horror in your face.
FUN FACT: Rick Baker and his team pulled individual hairs through silicone skin, then reversed the footage so it looked like the hair was growing. Still one of the most iconic scenes ever.
Suffice to say, I was HONORED to do this tat. Thanks Brandon!!

Finished this triceratops chest piece on my friend Julia yesterday. SHE IS TOUGHER THAN EVERY DUDE IVE EVER TATTED. What’s even cooler is her husband Ben has a Pterodactyl chest piece from me and now they have kinda matching Dino chest pieces?!?! As a HUGE Dino nerd I love every time they come in because for one, we have sick convo and two, they’re always getting the coolest tattoos!!
