It is with the heaviest heart that I have to say that my idol, my biggest inspiration, my grandad Alan Harold Fuller took his last breath on the 18th January peacefully at home.
The hardest working man I knew and a man who was full of no complaints amidst pain, only gratitude, kindness, strength and warmth and hoping that his family are okay even in his last days which serves as a stark reminder how unselfish he was and shows the type of man and human being he was. So many memories treasured I am so happy that I had you as my grandad and it gives me warmth that you knew how much you meant to me and always will, having to say see you again one day and watch you take your last breath has broken a very very big part of me that will never be repaired but I will forever carry you with me in life with every beat of my heart. You were like a father to me, I will miss you, your warm presence and your one liners every single day until we meet again. A truly remarkable human being who will always serve as my biggest inspiration and who I had the pleasure of calling my grandad. I now don’t fear the next life down the road because I will get to see you again one day. I love you with all my heart and soul grandad.
Life won’t be the same without you grandad, i’ll tell you all about it when I see you again ❤️

For years now running has been a saviour for my mental health and given me a degree of stability within my brain when it comes to my ADHD and that constant running mind(excuse the pun), and I have also raised money for charity through running, running for my Born Free Family who I have raised over £6000 for who I am an official voice & advocate for - 3 London Marathons(soon to be 4) and 1 ultra marathon of 50 miles, and this November I have a very special reason why I am running an ultra marathon for @farleighhospice 🏃🏻♂️
This November - no medal just miles - all in memory of my late grandad and biggest inspiration Alan Fuller. On his birthday the 17th November for Farleigh Hospice I shall be picking up my ultra boots once again doing 7am to 7pm - a day of 12 hours running around Braintree, Essex and surrounding areas.
Please do take a moment to have a look at my fundraiser, aswell as doing this in memory of grandad I am also doing this to heal some of my mental wounds of losing him. I was with him when he took his last breath and a part of me passed away that very same night, I find it hard to talk about him and see photos of him without getting upset.. naturally. I miss him so so much and wish I could have one more day with him but I know he will always be with me in all that I do. I don’t want this to be seen as a sob story but more of a sentiment to the type of man he was.. he wasn’t my biggest inspiration for no reason. Those that knew him his name alone speaks volume.
