Refined Lines - Biomecánica y Elegancia
La belleza está en las líneas. Este taller explora la biomecánica del cuerpo aplicada a la danza, combinando técnicas de ballet moderno con un profundo entendimiento anatómico para transformar tu técnica desde la raíz.
Aprenderás cómo mejorar tu flexibilidad de forma segura y consciente, entendiendo la biomecánica muscular: qué músculos intervienen en giros, elevaciones de piernas y equilibrios, y cómo activarlos correctamente para mayor eficiencia y seguridad.
Trabajaremos desplazamientos fluidos que conectan el espacio con tu cuerpo, líneas corporales limpias y elongadas que crean belleza visual, fortalecimiento del centro como base de todo movimiento y alineación vertical para mayor control y elegancia. Exploraremos
ejercicios de equilibrio que desarrollan tu eje, la relación entre espacio y movimiento para crear desplazamientos más conscientes, y cómo cuidar tu cuerpo mientras desarrollas técnica avanzada. Algo tarde pero April Bump 🤍 mi mes empezó con reparaciones, mudanzas, mi hermoso festival, mi comunidad, todo en Guatemala y termino en Paris, en Disney, caminando por las calles de la ciudad. Hay muchas selfies jaja y muchas fotos y videos que tengo y que quiero subir todo. Eventualmente. Eso de tener un perfil curado astetic no es lo mío 😂

Tribal GT 2026 terminó y todavía estoy procesando todo lo que vivimos estos días. Los talleres, los ensayos, los shows, los momentos entre clases, las conversaciones, las conexiones. Todo eso que pasa cuando reúnes a artistas que aman la danza en un mismo espacio durante tres días.
Sara Lyn, Emine Di Cosmo y Sofí Ureña: gracias por traer todo lo que son a Guatemala, por la generosidad con la que enseñan y por lo que dejaron en cada bailarín y bailarina que pasó por sus clases.
A las alumnas de Morrigan que subieron al escenario en NATURA: verlas el domingo fue uno de esos momentos que me recuerdan por qué hago esto. Meses de trabajo, de constancia, de ensayos, de su confianza y una noche que lo dijo todo. USTEDES SON EL CORAZON DE TODO ESTO.
A todos los artistas que participaron en ELEMENTUM y que confiaron en este festival para compartir su danza: gracias por su confianza, para mi es increible ver el crecimiento de muchos de ustedes año tras año en este festival.
A las maestras y hermanas invitadas, gracias por siempre acompañarme en esta celebración, por las risas y por esa hemrosa conexión que tenemos. Y a cada persona que estuvo en el público, que compró su boleto y que eligió pasar esas noches con nosotros, este festival existe porque ustedes lo hacen posible.

DISNEYLAND PARIS 🤍
Así empieza este viaje... con un sueño que me hace feliz a la adulta y a la niña Rita. 🏰✨
Creo que conectar con nuestro niño interior es muy especial e importante. Y esta vez fue una experiencia nueva: ir a Disney por primera vez en 32 años completamente sola. Entre las ventajas, muchísimo single rider, ahorro de colas, y tuve el chance de disfrutar las cosas con mucha más presencia. Aunque extrañé la compañía familiar que he tenido al ir desde mis 4 años.
Btw superé miedos, como montarme en Hyperspace Mountain, que ha sido mi archienemigo desde siempre porque odiaba las montañas rusas con pasión. Hoy me las disfruto, y como dije al bajar: “casi me muero, vamos otra vez” 😂
Disney estará en mi corazón siempre, no me duele hacer esa inversión, y forever seré una niña Disney. La bebé de 384 meses se la pasó bomba ✨

This is how this trip begins... with a dream that makes both adult Rita and little Rita happy. 🏰✨
I think connecting with our inner child is very special and important. And this time it was a brand new experience: going to Disney for the first time in 32 years completely alone. The perks? So much single rider, skipping queues, and the chance to enjoy everything with so much more presence. Though I did miss the family company I’ve had since I first came at 4 years old.
Btw I overcame fears, like riding Hyperspace Mountain, which has been my arch-enemy forever because I used to hate roller coasters with a passion. Today I love them, and as I said coming off: “I almost died, let’s go again” 😂
Disney will always be in my heart, I never regret making that investment, and forever I will be a Disney girl. The 384-month-old baby had the time of her life 🎂🐭
I still can’t quite believe I’m writing this.
This May, I’m embarking on something I once only dreamed about, teaching in Europe for the first time. France, Italy, Spain. Three countries, three communities, three chances to share something I love deeply with dancers I haven’t met yet.
It’s been a long road to get here. And I know there’s still so much more ahead. But this moment — this particular moment — feels like something worth pausing to feel.
To everyone who has supported me, believed in me, and shown up for my work: thank you. Genuinely. This doesn’t happen without you.
I hope I can bring something valuable to your dance, and I know you’ll bring something to mine.
