My mother @risi.ogunbor has been the biggest inspiration of my life - in faith and fashion of course, but mostly in business.
Even before joining my family in business at @nosakgroup , I’ve always worked for inspiring women with strong businesses while generating my own income through blogging with “The Chameleon Blogger” 🤭 iykyk.
My first job was at @xclamations and later I joined @bellanaija and started the @bellanaijastyle website. I’m forever grateful to @tomi.rotimi and @uchepedro for the opportunities they gave me and lessons they taught me. I wouldn’t be the confident woman I am today without the women who came before me.
And for the girls and women coming after me, such as my niece with her crochet, let us patronize and uplift them.
A woman’s economic power is the gateway to building a solid future for herself, her family and her community.

✨ Wise Words from Mummy O on how she protects her mental health and reduces stress. Hope it helps you!
1. Do not permit hurting and toxic people to dump their thrash on you and hurt you, too. NO!
2. Love all but never permit anyone to take your love and generosity for granted.
3. If they don’t ask you, just mind your business.
4. I have learnt to trust my instinct. If my spirit says
‘No’, my mouth, my hands, and my feet remain still. I don’t talk or argue too much these days, and I don’t go where I am not invited.
5. I don’t bother about what people say or think no more. I just do what I know is right and will give me peace and then MOVE ON!
6. The older I get, the less I feel the need to be included, accepted, or understood. It is too stressful living to please others and to make them understand you. Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion. My final word on this is: JUST PLEASE GOD NOT MAN.
7. My family is key! I love them and do not hesitate to say it and show it! Friends would forsake you, but a good family will stand by you through thick and thin.
8. So, my friends, value your family and celebrate your loved ones regularly. Do not be stingy with your praises, hugs, and ’I love you’!
9. Make your spouse your #1 after God! It is a big ERROR to put others before them.
10. Do not neglect your health. Make the right choices in diet and lifestyle. You will thank me in your old age!
11. Whatever your hands find to do, do it with all diligence. Always strive for excellence.

In our community, many of us find strength in our faith in God. It’s like having a rock to hold onto when things get tough. We care for each other and try to live by the good things our faith teaches us.
Even when life throws challenges our way, we trust that God is looking out for us. This belief gives us the courage to keep going, knowing that we’re not alone.
