Christakala - Part 1
It is unlikely that there are any Malayalis who haven't watched *Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Season 1 on Zee Keralam. It was as a contestant on that show that I first saw Christakala Chechi. I still remember Gopi Sundar Sir saying that there would be a song for Christakala in his upcoming music project. True to his word, Chechi made her debut as a playback singer by performing the title song for his next movie, 'Uyare'.
Following that, she has performed BGM (background music) and backing vocals for many music directors. Her sister,
Christajyothi , is also a playback singer. It was Chechi who sang the recurring BGM in the movie 'Lokah'. She has lent her voice to the background scores of many such films.Chechi, Christajyothi Chechi, and Athira Chechii have sung chorus parts together for several movies.

I first came to know about you as a dubbing artist through Athul, the admin of the Nagakanyaka Shivanya page. However, your voice was actually the voice of almost every kid back in the 90s! You are the same Sruthi Chechi who is well-known as the singer Baby Sruthi.
Chechi, you have sung and dubbed for a huge number of songs and movies. Your younger sister, Vaishali Unnikrishnan, is also a singer and dubbing artist. Since Vaishali Chechi has also sung many hit songs, I will make a separate video for her.
When you were younger, you mostly dubbed for boy characters. You have showcased your singing and dubbing talents primarily in Malayalam and Tamil.
