First Year MID grad Hanji Xu is experimenting with blown and cast glasswares. Exploring the realm of glass casting with unconventional molds, she imparts intricate and organic patterns onto an otherwise impervious surface utilizing carved wood and lettuce leaves.
Adam Ho, head designer at Fal and John Bai (ID ‘14), designer at Cursor are giving a guest lecture on the 25th of April. This is a great connecting opportunity for students interested in UX and tech!
The 2.5 yr MID cohort is organizing an informal sketching club with @jorge_paricio ! Led by Isaac and Jen, the group meets on Saturdays to practice design sketches!
