Empty aerosol disinfectant spray cans can be recycled in your bin or cart, as long as they are COMPLETELY empty. That means when you hold down the nozzle, nothing should come out—no product, no noise. Only then can these metal cans be safely recycled. It’s OK to leave the nozzle on. ♻
Ever wondered why we ask you to flatten paper and cardboard, but leave plastic containers, metal cans, lids, and glass bottles/jars in their original shape?
