It’s official !!! We have now had this STRONG bite for a month now. Matthew’s combo of a Riptide Rotter and Sponge Bob PJ’s brought him the luck he needed to catch this striper. I received a couple of other calls about anglers catching stripers so it’s going to be another great day of fishing in Brigantine NJ. We are loaded up with bait and the local waters are loaded up with fish and that makes for a perfect combo. Low tide will be at 1:31 pm and the shop will be open until 5:00 pm. Thanks and Have a Great Day Capt Andy

12 year old Colton A was in the shop and told me he couldn’t wait to catch a striper. He walked down 12th st and started to fish. Well it didn’t take long to land this beauty of a striper. I have watched Colton grow up catching fish with his Dad and Pop-Pop. It’s great to see as he has fishing in his blood and really enjoys it like a true angler. Congrats !!! Thanks Capt Andy

Tim T with a drum in Brigantine NJ today. Bite is still VERY strong and it’s only getting better. 80% of the anglers are using Shelled Rotters and catching fish another 15% are using salted Rotters and catching fish , and 3% are using plugs and they are catching fish , 2 % aren’t using Rotters and we all know who’s NOT catching fish ………. 🙂 Shop will open at 5:30 am and we are loaded with bait.

Ed C sent me this pic of Gabbi with her first ever drum caught using a Riptide Rotter yesterday and Mike G just nailed this 44” striper this morning on his first cast. That makes it 27 straight days with fish in the Brigantine NJ waters and I’m thinking it’s going to be another extraordinary day of fishing on The Rock. We are loaded with Riptide Rotter’s ( Fresh in the shell, shucked , or salted ) and if you are fishing in the ASACs tournament make sure you call me for bait to be reserved as the list is growing. We will be open at 5:30 am to accommodate for the tournament that only runs until 12:00 pm and we have plenty of beach to fish so don’t worry about it being to crowded to fish as we have 7 miles of beach and it’s all been producing fish. Today’s low tide will be at 12:41 pm and the shop will be open until 5:00 pm. Call by 4:00 if you need bait left out back. 609-264-0440 Thanks and Have a Great Day Capt Andy

Had a couple that came into the shop from Pittsburgh to stay in Brigantine for a little vacation. They have never striper fished before and we set them up with all they would need. They hooked up with Ben C and and were pleasantly rewarded this morning with this 41” striper and they were ecstatic. I love when the newbies catch and about The Power of the Rotter as we all know they will be hooked forever . Congrats!!! We have Riptide Rotter’s in stock and the weather is screaming for you to get out there and fish. **** HERE IS AN UPDATE ***** Now his wife just caught one also!!! The fish are here for the 24th straight day. Get out there and have some fun Have a Great Day Capt Andy

If you are having trouble catching a fish then find Ben C and fish next to him as he was just in the shop and left and sent me this 42” that he must have clonked on the head with his Riptide Rotter. Ben has been having a good Spring so far and if he’s not working he’s fishing. The fish are out there and anglers are loving it. If you are not catching at least you are standing next to somebody that is. Get out there and bend a rod and see if you can catch your personal best as many anglers have done. Shop will be open until 5:00 pm. Thanks and Have a Great Day Capt Andy

Here is the first report of the morning . Ben C just convinced this 45” striper to suck down a Riptide Rotter off the surf of Brigantine NJ. He snapped a quick pic and put her back in the water to safely swim away. That now makes 23 straight days for this incredible bite we are having with stripers , drum , and blues all on the hunt for a Riptide Rotter ( clam) . We have shelled , fresh shucked , or salted Rotter’s ( clams ) all in stock. Don’t miss out on this unbelievable bite that is going on . Stop in and pick up your Rotter’s and head to the surf to have some fun. If you need to upgrade your arsenal we have a huge selection of rods , reels , and tackle and if you are not sure on what or how to do it then stop by and we will help your get set up to catch a fish of a lifetime. Brigantine NJ is the hot spot for fishing right now but who knows how long it will stay like this ???? Low tide will be at 9:28 am and the shop will be open until 5:00 pm. Thanks and Have a Great Day Capt Andy

Bob A had a big big drum off of the Brigantine Jetty that was caught using a Riptide Rotter and after brining it up @onto the rocks he walked it back to the beach and with the assistance of a surfer who had a wetsuit and revived it to swim off to see another day. Rumor has it that this fish swam back to the other side of the jetty looking for ANOTHER Riptide Rotter……. 🙂 I know there are a ton of anglers out there with bent rods . If the fish is legal and you are going to harvest it that’s all good but if you are going to release it please make sure to put all you effort into quickly taking a pic and then getting it right back into the water and that’s called CPR (Catch, Picture , Release ) . The fish have a much better survival rate if you are in the water moving it forward so that the water flows over its gills. When they are ready they will kick their tales and take off and it makes for a much safer release . Kudos to Bob and the people that helped him get that fish to swim another day 👍 Shop will be open until 4:00 pm today . Have a Great Day Capt AndyIn
