Can confirm you CAN abandon your 1999 4x4 manual hub Tacoma on blocks in tweaker central and rebuild the entire steering knuckle assembly including new wheel bearing, ball joints, and tie rod ends using a 12 ton harbor freight press and a blow torch. (Don’t forgot to torque the bearing preload nut to 210 ft/lbs) However it’s not a fun time and I do not recommend. Success 10/10 - fun 0/10

Thanks everyone for your birthday wishes last week. I wasn’t able to reply cause I was too busy cutting off my thumb and having it re attached. Happy to share I got myself some wizard kit (airbrush van / doom metal song variety *not* English prep school style) to go with my hair, now almost completely grey.

- A story that employs an infinite-loop motif, ending in the very way it was put into motion. The circumstances need not be exact. …and good luck to us all!

Studio WIP picture aka “pRoOf Of LiFe” transmission that several of y’all been calling me about. Also WIP is inherently inaccurate because that assumes that these are works, and I am making progress toward a destination. 1. Much easier to not know such things. 2. Overdetermined outcomes are kinda boring. The Polaroid like objects are all scratch built. Lil guy was a weird test I wanted to try some things out. Image from a classic bit of ufo lore. Other images are mine, breakfast at dawn on the Williamsburg bridge and a desert truck stop scene just outside the Los Angeles basin. Sorry for the shitty picture and that it’s not clear what’s goin on with them, my phone camera lens is COOKED. Don’t @ me if you do or don’t ever see them again ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ However do @ me if you ever wanna hang at the studio on a weekend some time and chop it up. 🤙🏻

Thanks everyone who has reached out today to wish me a happy birthday. 🎂 I ended 32 and started 33 in quiet crisis by stitching my truck back together. Mfers always talkin about how bullet proof these Toyotas are but have never been 14 threads deep on the forums reading grown men have mental breakdowns cause they missed the 25 year long tacoma frame recall window. Thanks to all the homies that provided invaluable technical, logistical, and spiritual support to help me cowboy up and get this shit done. Next up: who wants to help me do an LS swap?
