Hey everyone! Now that I’ve grown my little corner of Instagram, I figure it’s time for a proper intro.I’m Abbie, or Riot Frames online. Take back to my first show after a long hiatus earlier this year. Lowkey still can’t believe I’ve been to so many gigs since this one with @swampcoffin. I mean, I’m no pro or anything, but I’ve got the earplugs to prove it. Big up @thegasstationlincs and @jimmyognomadik for letting me get stuck in and helping me along my journey. Recently, I’ve been pushing myself to step out of my comfort zone and dip into different types of photography from vast, moody landscapes to macro floral shots. It’s been a massive learning curve trying to tell one cohesive story through so many different lenses.I’ve also been living in Photoshop, practicing the art of the mood composite. I’m moving away from just “fixing” photos and instead trying to build a world that feels both gothic and mysterious.Still very much a work in progress, but I’m loving the challenge of making a static image feel like a frame from a dark film.Thanks @nathanesse for being my guinea pig.#gothicaesthetic #moodcomposition #darkacademia #visualstorytelling #environmentalportrait
