One for @oneokrockofficial 🩷 There are two biggest inspirations for me as a vocalist. One you might already know and will be watching her soon 🩷 And the other is @10969taka from ONE OK ROCK. I just want to leave this here. I’ve been a fan of ONE OK ROCK since I was 15. I started by singing their songs, trying to understand each message he puts into them and I find it so beautiful. Over time, I learned more about the band, and of course, about Taka. I watched every video I could find. He’s truly an incredible vocalist and performer you can always tell he gives his all in every single show. Last night was my second concert. The moment he started singing, I could tell he wasn’t in the best condition. I couldn’t stop worrying and praying for his recovery. As a singer, losing your voice is one of the scariest things it only takes one mistake to cause lasting damage. And yet, he still sang for us. Live. He kept apologizing whenever he could, and together with all the Malaysian fans, I kept shouting “大丈夫” back at him. I ended up crying, seeing how much he was pushing himself just to deliver the message he wanted to share with us. It reminded me again that I chose the right person to look up to. 🩷 I’m still holding on to my dream to become a singer like Taka one day.
