We walked with our Kunji at Kochi Muziris Biennale @kochibiennale ! And that too in the vibrant warmth of ABC’s Art Room @abc_artroom 🤗🤗 The first public screening of our short film ‘A Very Normal Day of Wonders’ felt like an evening my heart had not fully rehearsed for.🥹 What stays with me most is, how my closest few made the film and the evening so completely their own. From making a quick decision to turn a ceiling high wall into our screen almost instantly, to making your way through relentless traffic, to bringing a projector from a hundred kilometres away! My tribe, you made the evening breathe. 😘😘😘 Happiness arrived in many forms after the two back to back screenings. In the tears and smiles that appeared after the film. In the hugs — tight, tighter, and tightest. In the curious questions from little ones. In heartfelt words. In comments. In unexpected invitations that opened toward other festival journeys. In reunions, random visitors, new acquaintances, and late arrivals. In photographs taken, and those forgotten. . The film is an independent production, shot in a functioning market. The film works with actors alongside everyday people, carefully scripted to gather the textures of the space into subtle perceptual layers. The film’s visual language and soundscape shape a sensory field where shifting realities quietly emerge.
