You kno i’ve never done one of these!! But since theres so many new folks here from my clay cat calendars - I felt like it was time to reintroduce myself. I’m ur local florida man who works in picture books, stationery, and now clay cats. Sometimes i make videos if i’m not watching videos. I love the capybara (as any brazilian should) and i love taking care of my three barn cats like they’re my sons. All i do is yap about the 70’s and 80’s and yearn for old internet.

silly lil clay tuxedo cat calendar where you take a fish off the hook as the months pass. I love how silly cats look when sitting so that was a big inspiration for this. I love how creative you can get when trying to make the passing of time more tangible. I hope next year’s experiment is even sillier.

We are so excited to announce Making Washi workshop taught by @rileys_desk with The Washi Station. Have you ever wanted to make your own washi tape for your planners or journals, or even to start your own stationery brand? Learn the process on designing washi tapes by Illustrator Riley's Desk. From concept to print, and all the mistakes made, Riley will help you design your own washi tape. You will receive an instructional booklet and join your fellow workshop attendees in creating your own collaborative pattern. All workshop reservations require a valid Stationery Fest marketplace ticket for entry (does not need to be same-day).

CHICAGO!! This weekend i’m bringing 50 (yes only 50) Critter Carriage bags to @chicagostationeryfest ! Working with @pinpaint_official we crafted the perfect bag for all your journaling needs, and with metal rings for your favorite keychains to hold onto incase it’s a bumpy ride. It’s heavily inspired by my love for the blue line 🫶. Find the bags at table 216 with The Washi Station 🐈‍⬛

The cats outta the bag, I designed an exclusive 25 mm washi for @paperandpencilchicago ! I hand painted the base and elements of the design in acryla gouache. Working on top of it digitally for any lost details (its hard to paint whiskers okay!) I’ve been struggling with getting my art drive back and mixing media like this has made my heart so happy. And i get to showcase my hometown through my eyes :3 Canadian geese i love ya. — It debuts next week at @chicagostationeryfest !! I can’t wait to see these in people’s hands.

What a joy it was to work with @rileys_desk and @thewashistation on our NEW Paper & Pencil exclusive washi tape — making its debut at @chicagostationeryfest next weekend! Riley is from Chicago and this project gave him the chance to showcase his love of the city paired with cats and other city critters, stationery supplies, vintage ephemera, and iconic Chicago foods — all of our favorite things! The .. Last… monthly spread of my 2025 hobonichi techo! December….. I visited titusville to see my friends and buy stationery, lando norris won da drivers championship, i watched the terminator movies for the first time, I went on a very cursed trip to LA where my stomach exploded but i got to see my lovely friends. Ate my favorite sandwich. Survived LAX on xmas eve eve.
