Volunteers have joined the Dowutins in their struggle to free their planet from Imperial occupation and the ongoing blockade. On the other side, the Empire has grown accustomed to local ambushes. Despite heavy losses, Imperial forces continue to send reinforcements to Dowut, establishing new bases and outposts in an effort to expand their control over the planet

○ The Clawthorne house controls one of the three strategic crossings of the central river thanks to Newgate, an imposing fortress that dominates this vital trade route.
Newgate consists of two massive towers connected by a fortified gate. Each tower houses soldiers ready to defend the crossing at any moment, while the central gate is reinforced with an iron portcullis that can be lowered to block any passage. On either side, two drawbridges connect the opposite banks of the river. In times of threat, the bridges are raised, isolating the fortress and rendering the crossing impassable.
Newgate is also a source of wealth for House Clawthorne: every traveler must pay a toll to access the river. These revenues ensure the maintenance of the fortress and strengthen Clawthorne’s economic influence in the region.
Simple yet fearsomely effective, Newgate stands as a symbol of Clawthorne power and an unshakable hold over one of the most important routes between the north and the south, and between the sea and the rest of the continent.

○ Count Jayce Clawthorne, second son of Duke Jorah Clawthorne, had finally arrived in Sognéterno to take part in the Grand Tournament of Peace.
Sognéterno gleamed with splendor with banners dancing in the wind. Yet, beneath the brilliance, Jayce could feel the weight of hostile stares upon him. Northern knights whispered as he passed, their dark armor glinting with disdain.
One muttered under his breath:
“The blood of Clawthorne remains tainted, no matter how many years have passed.”
Jayce answered calmly, his voice sharp as steel:
“Tainted or not, we endure and we are here to prove our worth.”
Further on, Southern nobles fixed their eyes on the yellow amulet bound tightly to his sword’s hilt. Its radiant glow stood in sharp contrast to the Solar emblems they wore with pride.
One of them sneered quietly:
“A man of the South carrying the faith of the North? What a curious sight.”
Jayce paused, a calm smile tugging at his lips.
“Faith does not bend with shifting alliances. I am here for the honor of my house, and for the balance of our realms.”
Turning toward the arena, he laid his hand on his sword. Here, in this tournament, he would bring honor to his name...
