Some more photos from my performance *S P A T I A L C O N T E M P L A T I O N S* at St. Katharinenkirche in Frankfurt. I was blessed with the opportunity to hold my own mass. The piece asked question that I think we need to talk about in public settings more. Like in church for example. It was separated in chapters with the topics: 1 - HOME 2 - HERE & THERE 3 - WALKING AS A SPACE 4 - PARADISE 5 - IN-BETWEEN 6 - BELONGING How do we find space to facilitate these conversations? You should ask @quovadis_festival because they did an amazing job at creating this opportunity for everyone who participated but also came to watch ✨ Much love to my friends and colleagues @ececamlii & @cizik.s who influenced this work a lot and shaped some of the themes that ended up being in there. I cannot wait to get together again and finally create something together. Thank you @karabukowski for making sure my performance won’t be washed away with time and capturing some moments 🫶 I am nothing without my friends 🫂

*S P A T I A L C O N T E M P L A T I O N S* at @quovadis_festival I did my first solo-performance in Frankfurt this year. It came with challenges, few highs and many lows and confronted me with some big fears and insecurities but also was a chance to curate reflect on some themes that moved me this last year. Quite literally. It was about the meanings we humans project on space and the social dynamics and experiences they transform to. It was assembled by fragments, bits and pieces of sound, text, song and movement creating personal references connecting to a common human experience. It was created for this occasion. 11th October, St Katharinenkirche in the city of Frankfurt, a place that was my home for four years and that I’ve had a conflicted reslationship with that maybe also needed some form of resolution. A big thanks to everybody from the team who made @quovadis_festival happen. Thank you for sharing your space with me. The amount of work you put in to make this all happening was incredible. Can’t wait to see what this grows to in the future ✨

✹ 𝐑𝐈𝐄𝐊𝐄 𝐋Ö𝐅𝐅𝐋𝐄𝐑 showing at quovadis: 𝐒𝐩𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬, Performance 𝐓𝐢𝐦𝐞 𝐒𝐥𝐨𝐭: October 11, 01.25–01.50 PM Rieke Löffler (@riksbyyy ) is a Vienna-based choreographer, dancer, and performance artist. Her work explores space as both a physical and emotional landscape - an archive of relations, memories, and projections. She creates ephemeral architectures where reflection, connection, and shared presence can unfold. Inviting the audience to experience dance as a language beyond words – a way of accessing truths that can be sensed, felt, and collectively created. Her practice becomes an embodied site of social imagination.   Löffler lives between places rather than fixed homes (Istanbul, Vienna, and beyond), her practice embraces mobility as a core element, shaping work that responds to diverse contexts and audiences. She studied Dance at the Music and Arts University of the City of Vienna (MUK), and her works have been presented internationally at the Nova Generace Festival (Prague) and Festival Share (Bratislava), and shown in Vienna, Istanbul, and Vorarlberg. In 2025, she initiated the cabaret series – a performative lecture program she produces and curates.   Her practice merges personal memories and imagined realities with collective visions, creating work that unfolds across diverse contexts and spaces. By framing space as both a lived archive and a field of utopian imagination, her performances invite bodies to remember, connect, and explore alternative ways of being together. quovadis understands itself as a place of encounter. The curatorial idea is that one can enter the church and remain there for 24 hours, with all basic needs taken care of. For this reason, food will be provided free of charge throughout the festival. The meeting place is at the rear of the church, where tea, coffee, water, and snacks are available at any time of day or night. __ Photos: Flora Sommer (@look4moments )
