Nap Time is an electronic duo making improvised music on wonky analogue equipment.
It consists of myself and Justin Paton (founder of @now_the_band and Beauty and Disgust Records) hobnobbing in either his studio or mine for impromptu knob-twiddling sessions, which he then edits and mixes.
This is album no. 8 and, as a novelty for us, this one actually has track titles.
It’s music of generous self-indulgence: hazy, personal, and maybe a little therapeutic... but hopefully enjoyable to listen to as well.

Waxless Club #8 is just around the corner, and we have the pleasure of hosting the fantastic Reuben Sutherland, the mind behind the phenakistoscopic wizardry of the duo Sculpture, alongside @rotarysignalemitter , who we already had the immense pleasure of welcoming in a previous edition of @waxless_club_london . We have no idea what he’s going to play, and we couldn’t be more excited!
We’re also thrilled to see where the serendipitous modular techno routine of the brilliant @mentataudio will take us, as he closes the night.
Our regular host and curator @rikofango (S⊎G⊝) will be serving up some groovy starters, opening the ceremony with tasty beats. Expect wonky acidic house and sporadic jungle ambushes.
