Continuing our @CamperCalling prep, Lee, our Production Director (and the man who’ll be project-managing the mainstage video) has been putting our new @rigwheels Upright PT-Zero Vibration Isolator through its paces.
His mission: lock down rock-solid shots from the back of the stage with our Panasonic AW-UE160s. On a festival stage, subs, drums, and moving artists send vibrations everywhere, wreaking havoc on mounted cameras. The PT-Zero all but kills those shakes, turning unwatchable wobble into clean, stabilised shots.
Lee has been experimenting with different support cable lengths and diameters within the mount itself, as well as various tripod and stand options, to fine-tune the stabilisation and find the perfect setup. All ready to bring epic on-stage footage to the big screens at this year’s Camper Calling. 🎥
