OKEECHOBEE FESTIVAL IS BACK! For our fourth time in a row the Discolypso Crew is returning to the portal of Okeechobee — a place that holds a special place in our heart. We’ve watched this magical festival evolve over the years, and we’re thrilled to be part of its newest chapter. For those of you who have never visited, Okeechobee is a multi-genre festival set on a stunning property, with lakes, forests, grassy glades, huge open spaces and stunning wildlife, only one hour west of West Palm Beach, Florida. It’s one of the funnest places we’ve had the pleasure to perform, as the crowd is so full of energy and up for a good time, OMF has become a part of these young Floridan’s identity - a place where they really let loose! The Discolypso Takeover This year, we’re curating a day-into-night boogie experience at the immersive Tea Lounge area - a lush sanctuary tucked away within a cluster of palm trees and Floridan foliage. Prepare for a cosmic dance-floor extravaganza featuring dreamy instrumentals, dubbed out disco tunes and deep cutting cosmic energy featuring two special guests - Eric Duncan and Rigopolar. We are especially excited to be playing on this custom made quadrophonic soundsystem for the first time:) Navigating the Portal Okeechobee is an 800-acre immersive wonderland, and every corner offers a different energy: 🥳The Grove: The BE and NOW areas serve as the festival’s pulsating heart - two large stages hosting bands and DJs alike. This year they have LCD Soundsystem, Cage the Elephant and the Lumineers Headlining Here: This is a huge bamboo and fabric structure that is blasting Bass leaning dance music from day into night 🫧Aquachobee: Sandy shores and “spring break” vibes are strong here. We still dream about our 2020 takeover here—the final dance with Dicky Trisco and Jkriv - just one week before the world locked down. 👾The After-Hours: Lose yourself in the flames of Incendia or the hypnotic, deep-space techno of Jungle51. 🌴Chobeewobee Village: The soul of the grounds. When you need to wind down, head here for immersive art, local flavors, and starlit workshops.
