I’m so grateful for progress. The first few contact tricks in this video are really starting to just make more sense. I’ve been training on contact for so long.. going through all of the emotions.. and it’s finally starting to pay off. There’s always room to grow, of course, but today, I’m happy.
I’m really struggling on getting the opening double folding lines on both sides, but I know that will happen in time.

The beginning mirrored combo is just outside of my comfort zone which is both frustrating & fulfilling.
It took many takes to get this clip and I was honestly hoping for a better one, but that’s life!
I was on a time crunch and the air was so stinkin’ humid that I couldn’t quite get the right grip on my poi. And the wind was blowing in such a way to where my hair kept getting in the line of sight but it was too sticky out to put it in a hair tie. Oh Florida, how I love/hate you.

I’m PUMPED!! It may not look like much & it may not be absolutely “perfect” but that little mirrored sequence in the beginning was SO HARD FOR ME.. I mean like really hard. 😅 It took me like 50 tries to get this take & it’s here to stay. 😹 The second 1-handed butterfly was supposed to be done with my left hand but I got too excited that I forgot to use it.. whatever!! 💁🏻♀️
