April 18th, join the Michigan Chapter of Backcountry Hunters & Anglers at Right Brain Brewery in Traverse City for our Boardman River Pint Night: a conversation with representatives of the Great Lakes Fishery Commission about the future of native fish in the Boardman River watershed.
Our Saturday conversation will focus on the Great Lakes Fishery Commission’s FishPass project, which will replace the failing Union Street Dam in Traverse City with a new system that will allow native lake trout and sturgeon to pass while blocking invasive species like sea lamprey.

Get ready to drop the puck! Join us for an action-packed Bubble Hockey Tournament on Saturday, April 18th, starting at noon. Whether you're flying solo or teaming up with a partner, there's a bracket for you.
The tournament runs in a double elimination format, meaning one loss doesn't end your run — you'll need to be beaten twice before you're out. Fight your way through the winners bracket or claw back through the losers bracket for a shot at the championship!
Categories: • 1-on-1 – Pure skill, pure focus. Prove you can control the rods and run the table on your own. • 2-on-2 – Team up with your best partner and coordinate your way to the top. Communication and chemistry are just as important as reflexes.
Puck drop is at noon — don't be late! Come ready to compete, have fun, and show off your skills under the dome. May the best player — or team — win!
