Arduino & Touchdesigner project for Experimental Interactive class 🫧
How it works ~
Our team created a glove using our arduino kit that picks up diff levels of resistance when the user interacts with diff parts of another person’s body. This level is then communicated to touchdesigner through serial numbers, generating visuals as the human bodies complete the circuit.
Concept ~
Coexistence is fundamental to a meaningful human life. We are shaped by our interactions with the people around us. Every user carries a different charge, and when it’s shared, it creates different visuals, like how we all express and feel things differently.
Visually, we designed this to look like a worldbuilding tool that resembles cells and pixels, the basic building blocks of the physical and digital realms.
Some personal thoughts 😝
It was my first time using touchdesigner. I’ve been wanting to learn it for the longest time and I’m so happy that I finally did. I love how expansive the software is & how it can easily connect with our physical arduino through an existing node. Creating systems fulfill me - especially those that connects through both physical and digital touchpoints. This project was def one of my favourites :)

THE ELEVATOR GAME: An exploration of the popular 2011 urban legends from South Korea and Japan. An assignment for my Graphic Form class in Uni. I was sooo stoked to get this brief bc i love urban legends, found the spiral accordion format of this zine perfect for this legend’s storytelling. White for home, black and red for the alternate dimension. Inspired by reports from reddit around 2011. Outer case cutout for the zine mimics the motion of elevator carriages ⬆️ ⬇️

3-grid post for NTU Hall 10’s Cultural Night!! Pulled this outta my butt in like 1hr total. vv straightforward and simple process, i love playing w textures and embossing!!! theme was neon from the beginning and i just love how bright this design is hehe
Hall 10 Mountain Climbers! 🧗🏻♀️🏔️ Graphic T-shirt design for NTU Hall of Residence 10 Merchandise for AY25/26! @ntuhall10 Had a blast making this, tried 100% illustrating on my ipad using Procreate! Most difficult part of this was settling on 2-3 colourways (rip green) cuz all of them look good… (NOT A REAL CLIMBING CLUB our hall just has a lot of stairs so residents complain of needing to climb mountains to get to their room😛)

Inter-Block Games for NTU’s Hall 10!!! took lots of inspo frm nike / sports graphics and felt like dynamic text would suit this event! loads of sports games happening and i rlly liked how the blue turned out 💙😛
Jerseys for NTU’s Hall of Residence 10 ❤️🖤 I made this back in October last year and i had a blast making something new! I learned alot about how diff styles of jerseys are inspired by diff sports and i felt like our colours of red and black had so many cool and sick design possibilities so i decided to make it a v-neck with a sharp style and striking colour!!! the shoulders feature claw marks of a panther, our hall’s representative animal hehe. i feel so proud n happy whenever i see someone wear this around hall!!!
