We’re excited to share that a new bus shelter has been installed along Natomas Blvd at Del Paso Road near @inderkumhighschool and @arcnatomas . This bus route 11 stop, identified as a priority in SacRT’s Bus Stop Improvement Plan, serves more than 50 daily trips.
Councilmember Lisa Kaplan championed this improvement while previously serving on the SacRT Board, and the project was completed through a cost‑sharing partnership with the @cityofsac .
Thank you to everyone who helped make this upgrade possible for the students and riders who use this stop every day!
The Downtown Riverfront Streetcar Project is moving forward, and we want your input!

Thank you to SacRT Board Director and Councilmember Caity Maple for hosting a wonderful Coffee with Caity “Let’s Talk Transit” event this morning focused at Broadway Coffee Company.
SacRT General Manager/CEO Henry Li joined the conversation to share updates on SacRT and answer transit‑related questions from the community.
And thank you to everyone who came out to listen, learn, and engage with us!
This morning in Oak Park, we had an exciting conversation with our neighbors and SacRT about current and future transit projects. While we work to increase our community resilience to climate change, we are also making it easier to access everything Sacramento has to offer- but not without your engagement and input.
Thank you to SacRT @ridesacrt and Henry Li @sacrthenry for joining us today 🚊🚌🚏 and thank you to @classyhippieteaco for hosting us ☕️💕!

May is Youth on Transportation Safety Month, and SacRT is proud to join TAT (Truckers Against Trafficking) and transportation agencies across the country in raising awareness about human trafficking and the importance of youth safety.
At SacRT, bus and light rail operators receive training and resources to help recognize the warning signs of human trafficking and respond appropriately. Through awareness and education, we can all play a role in creating a safer community for everyone. #YOTSafetyMonth
