My father Colonel Harvey L. Schultz taught and inspired me to be involved. He aerved with distinction for 37 years in the #USArmy and #USAR, receiving the #LegionofMerit and being nominated for the rank of general. (There weren’t too many jewish generals in the 1970s) Recently I’ve honored his legacy #volunteering as an #ElectionWorker. I’ve previously served as a #volunteer working with #homelessveterans. We have a #specialelection in #california this year, with a single but crucial proposition on the ballot. #proposition50 is our governor’s initiative to offset the #gerrymandering in #texas that created/stole five seats for the GOP by redrawing the #congressionalmap. What’s happening at #CNN? Today I spotted this false, clearly misleading headline suggesting #JackSmith is defending #trumpf’s prosecutions. In fact-as one might expect-he is very clearly critical of them. Rather than a typo slipping past an editor, it is suggestive of something far more disturbing.

You’re viewing the #PalisadesFire after burning up #TopangaCanyon to the rim of the #sanfernandovalley threatening #Tarzana and #Encino. This is far from over . After slowing winds this weekend strong winds to return on Monday. #Fire is seen from about nine miles away. Some of these fires are believed to be #arson. #LosAngeles is hurting with some areas reminiscent of #Nagasaki and #Dresden (with no disrespect). #Horrific #MotherNature has power. To think any of this could be the work of an #arsonist? Or worse? We are good so far but #heartbroken with all the loss surrounding us.
