Lykke Li and I have a long history of writing songs together.
In 2011 I flew to Stockholm, Sweden where Lykke, Bjorn Yttling and I wrote 5 songs for her “Wounded Rhymes” album.
Our song “I Follow Rivers” became a global hit song.
Last summer Lykke and I wrote new songs for her upcoming album “The Afterparty”.

Last summer I got a call from the Black Keys to see if I wanted to write songs with them.
I said “Yes!”.
We got together in their cool studio in Nashville and wrote 6 songs together.
They are incredible writers, musicians and people.
It was fun and easy.
Btw I love Dan’s inspired production of “West Coast”, “Shades of Cool” and “Sad Girl” by Lana.
