When I first sent the record to Erik he had this idea to sort of do a play on covering my kids faces with emojis on the Internet. Brought that idea to fellow Wolesley dad, Toby who made this awesome mask with his own kids. Buio very patiently took photos of us at @bonniedayresto one evening.
Still feel weird putting my face on things so consider this exposure therapy for me. Thanks for listening:)
Early-bird ticket buyers may have noticed a sneaky vinyl add-on for our Toronto show - we’d been dreaming of our own vinyl for a long time. Our live debut felt like the perfect opportunity to introduce Yehra’s music into physical form. We’ve called it XIV because we’ve known each other fourteen years, and it’s our first fourteen songs.
