Sights and sounds from this past Saturday’s duo gig with Larnell. We had an absolute blast at the sold out @thejazzroom in Waterloo.
Here, we’re vibing on a beautiful gem by @oldmansco called “Let’s Say We Did”, and this gorgeous little beast I’m playing is a Miezo Über-Compact Bass. (Literally Über jamming!) I’m still figuring out how to play this instrument, but I absolutely love it. HUGE thanks to my friends at @mubcustom for this wonderful little melody maker.

It’s been years since I’ve felt any need to play a fretless, but the organic tone of this semi-acoustic bass adds a completely new and beautiful colour to the palette.
