Two weeks away! @phaedraensemble return to @kingsplacelondon on the 19th of September where we’ll be taking Hall one on a deep dive into the minimalist masterpieces of John Adams. 🔥 we’re also playing some music form our beloved @meredithmonk as well as the outrageously talented @gabriella.coati . This is Becky (aka Fish/Mummy) and it’s her Birthday today!
She’s the most caring, loving, beautiful human I’ve had the pleasure to meet, and I married her! Lucky me.
If you’re wondering why she hasn’t been smashing podium finishes in your local triathlon lately, she’s had a pretty intense few years with two bouts of hyperemesis, bringing two wonderful kidlings into the world and sacrificing no small amounts of her physical and mental self health.
I’m eternally grateful.
Side note; If anyone else suffers hyperemesis (constant nausea, struggling to eat or drink in pregnancy) reach out to her - she has nice ears and experience with all of the drugs available and their various side effects, and also had to fight to get them.

Utterly bonkers weekend with @teamsexywalrus . Huge thanks to the SW committee for organising.
Total respect for all those who broke through walls and put their bodies on the line for a made up virtual mega-triathlon-of-sorts team challenge.
For my part, I really enjoyed being pushed (marginally) out of my comfort zone; swimming in the River Medway with Becky and a baby in tow, cycling 70km and trotting out a 5k.
