So yesterday evening was hella crazy. I was at home chillin', minding my own business, when I get the call: "Hey are you able to introduce somebody onstage in Spanish?" I hesitated, but since I don't get asked this question every day, I said "Yes I can." Then I hear "Great. Get over to Cine El Rey in 10 min. You're the host for the comedy show tonight." 😳😳WTF? Lol!
So your boy just got to open up for veteran Los Angeles comic legend, Richard Villa @richardcomedy , last night. Needless to say, I had a total blast and couldn't have been more honored to share the stage with him. Super cool dude who brought the laughs. Two shows in English and Spanish, having never done the latter before. As a former No Sabo kid, I felt it went well, and the crowd seemed to ride with me. Finally got to write my name on the legendary wall inside the green room alongside the countless performers who've taken the stage at Cine El Rey.
My next goal to level up my comedy game is to create a proper comedy set in Spanish. Jokes just hit so much harder when told in Spanish. Anyways, that was my night.
