Meet RICH MNISI TSUNDZUKA
A collaborative effort with @charles_haupt , Tsundzuka (Remember) is a monolithic console, intricately fashioned to serve as a sacred vessel of memory.
Handcrafted from a resin polymer, this sideboard assumes the role of a resolute guardian, protecting the wealth of ancestral knowledge within itself. The sinuous curves of a snake forged in bronze, symbolise not only timeless wisdom but also the nuanced duality inherent in lessons derived from the annals of the past.

Meet RICH MNISI RIPFUMELO I & II from DZUVULA
Ripfumelo 1 and Ripfumelo Il are a pair of sculptural seats that explore themes of sensuality, suffocation and duality. The sinuous form of a snake gracefully twists and turns to create the curved armature of the low-slung seating. Crafted from bronze, the snake serves as a protective nest, cradling the luxurious sheepskin ottomans within its embrace while the threat of danger remains palpable.
These distinctive pieces not only bring a touch of soft opulence to the collection but also embody the intriguing dance between fear and comfort.

Meet RICH MNISI RIFUWO from DZUVULA @southernguildgallery
Marrying lightness and menace, Rifuwo (Wealth) appears to hover above the ground, its surface encircled by the twisting form of a snake. The creature’s head emerges from among a cascade of glass beads emblazoned with the stippled pattern of reptilian scales. Made in 2023 for @designmiami , this desk in polished bronze develops our serpentile language of forms and draws on our interest in the duality of fear and beauty that underlie human existence.

The RICH MNISI Nyoka ni Switepisi Scarf reimagines gathering as both ritual and expression. Crafted from 100% silk in a 90 x 90 cm square, it carries a graphic board that balances nostalgia with modernity, where chance meets intention.
With its two sculptural coconut rings and a custom aluminum Nyoka dice, it becomes fully playable. Movement unfolds across the silk, tracing chance, story and connection.

We are proud to introduce RICH MNISI ‘Rienda ri Tsariwile’ For Woven Forms II, we translate our visual language into sculptural tapestry through Rienda ri Tsariwile (The Journey is Written), a work that holds our reflections on resilience, renewal and the continuous act of becoming.
Presented by @aminicarpets in collaboration with @randcompanynyc during Milan Design Week 2026, the exhibition reimagines the rug as architecture, artefact and emotional terrain. Within this space, our multicoloured serpents return, coiling and converging as symbols of rebirth, mapping a living landscape shaped by endurance and transformation.
Rooted in ancestral knotting traditions yet guided by a contemporary instinct, the work exists between memory and imagination. Alongside voices such as Zizipho Poswa, the exhibition expands the language of textile into something tactile, immersive and alive.
This is not a story to be observed at a distance.
