Unfortunately I was working on the house this weekend so couldn’t get to cadwell but the boys smashed it.
Massive congrats to @lbully09@kebabman69 and Marsh. qualifying 1,2,3. Finishing both races 1,2. If it wasn’t for some bad luck and in the second race a right numpty @kebabman69 would have secured 3rd.
Some great racing and no doubt a couple of beers to be consumed tonight. Shame I couldn’t be there but couldn’t be more proud of the boys this weekend.

Another season done, and a massive congratulations to Simon in winning the championship. You won’t meet a better human being build his car, races it and maintains it. Incredible!!
Quali: early start meaning no temps on the track but dryish. Even though we have a full grid some decent space so managed a few reasonable laps. P25/38 firmly midpack.
Race1: With no silverware up for grabs as missed a few rounds thought let’s start from the pits and try to test myself getting through the pack quickly without incident. Caught up the pack by cascades and started to get through them picking where I would get a better corner exit and past them into the next corner. Good race and enjoyed getting through people. Finished P21
Race2: Again from the pits to try to get through quicker this time unfortunately not the case got caught behind 3 cars fighting for there class win which took mate a couple of laps to get past. Got after the cars I. Front but delayed so took a little longer. Unfortunately a red flag shortened our race due to a breakdown on track so that was that for the year. Finished P20.
A good end to the year car came home safe and sound ready to be quicker next year. Tuition and fitness is on the cards for winter!!!

We arrived Thursday to test on Friday morning which went well few niggles with the other cars but managed to get sorted then off the Ghandis for dinner 🥘 you can’t come to Donington without a Ghandis
Quali: struggled to get a clean lap with so many on the grid but car ran well and we see what we can do in the race. 1:23 P31 not great!!
Race 1: Good start but got caught up in a 7 car train which changed positions a few times. Managed to get past them all and head off down the road decent laps and more time in the car which I loved. 1:20 P17 more like it!!
Race 2: finally a decent start and passed a fair few off the line. Managed to get my head down and do some decent laps. Steve Parker and @blade_eater_ behind for lap after lap with our cars so evenly matched was brilliant fun then a lap to go coming out of McLeans lost power only for it to come back so think it was fuel surge and lost a couple of places. Happy to get the car home and had a brilliant race. 1:20 P18.

Loved being at Oulton park yesterday with the cnc lot for round 6&7 of this years championship. Strange being the other side of the pit wall but great to see racing throughout the field. I blooming love the cnc paddock another great weekend with some bonkers machines. Due to 49 cars registered we had a split grid. Great for the championship but missed being with some of the big boys and girls.
Quali: new pads and a rebuilt box took it steady and got everything warmed up then off for a couple of quick laps. 1:59 lap and into the top 10 well P10 but still counts.
Race 1: Crap start as usual lost a couple of spots so off to catch up. Got past a couple early on then to chase down the golf of Simon, with some good laps got passed just after knickerbrook. Only to find out got a 10 second penalty for a jump start 🤦♂️so back to behind him. 1:59 and P8
Race 2: Finally a decent start and past a couple. Kept with the group ahead until I locked up into knickerbrook and got one hell of a flat spot which caused vibrations around every right hand bend Handy that when druids is probably the quickest on the circuit. Kept Matt behind so did ok. 1:59 P9.
Some properly quick machinery out there this weekend so no chance of silverware but time to work on a few bits on the car. Anglesey next which is normally a fairly good track for me so let’s see.
