Anywhere But Here Locations! ABH was a love letter to my home state of South Australia, so here's a few of the places where JJ and Brooke make a pit stop or two: 1. Flinders Ranges: A 3-5 hour drive north of Adelaide depending on what part of the Flinders you're heading to. Wilpena Pound is the most famous location - an 800 million year old amphitheatre of mountains. It's an incredible place to spend time in nature and the views are spectacular. 2. Barossa: This is about an hour drive north from Adelaide. Barossa is renowned worldwide as a wine region, and in particular, for Shiraz. It's a bold red that packs a punch! You'll find rows and rows of vineyards in the area, as well as the cutest small country towns such as Nuriootpa and Tanunda. 3. Deep Creek: 1.5 hrs south from Adelaide, this coastal region has some of my favourite day hikes. There are cliffs, ocean views and rolling green hills. It's still on my list to go camping down that way, and I think I inspired myself after all the research for ABH! 4. Kangaroo Island: A 45 minute ferry ride from the mainland, this cute island is perfect for exploring everything from sea lions and sand dunes to some of the best local produce in the state. 5. Adelaide: We can't forget the state's capital city! It's a fairly small city by capital standards, but I love the green belt surrounding the CBD. It's a relatively quiet and laid back town, and I wouldn't have it any other way! What place would you love to see if you visited South Australia? 😍 Rian x

It's audiobook proofing time! Thought I'd share a little bit of the process as an Indie author working with her narrator (thanks @voicesofnina ) Now that Nina's done a proof, it's my turn! While it may look tedious, I actually LOVE this process. My role is to listen to each chapter, checking it's both in line with the text and that all pronunciation etc is correct. Any errors at this stage, I simply highlight and make a note and it logs it for Nina to then go through and make any final adjustments.
