The sun is a pervert, with all its light never penetrating, just being reflected, rejected until
collected by an eye or something that is like really, really heavy. Only when the matter is weak
and begins to dissolve, does its light enter and make us sleeeepwalking shapeshifters. We so
begin to discard what we have filled with ideas, ideals too, scatter behind us trails of sacred
artifacts that after a million seconds will go on to tell even bigger lies. But – much like ourselves
– sometimes they are frail enough to carry evidence of our labour, and an archaeologist might
live to continue the lie.
