So a few weeks ago I was sent an amazing care package by one of my favourite Garage House producers of all time. Although he may not know it, this was truly a moment of immense gratitude for me, as I prefer to $upport independent labels and their respective artists as much as I can. It’s not the good oldé days of major label 12” promos which were saturating the marketplace and ended up in the dollar bin of vinyl retailers. No, it’s back to the Wild West of pressing and persevering on one’s craft and musical legacy, at times risking financial ruin for the love of the art form.
