We’re incredibly proud to share that @oliviasullivan_sings Sullivan has been selected as a finalist for the Spotlight Prize 2026.
This is one of the industry’s most respected showcases for graduating performers, and to see Olivia recognised at this level is a real moment.
At CAST Studio, we talk a lot about the importance of doing the work properly — building craft, staying curious, and developing as a thoughtful, generous performer. Olivia embodies all of that. This recognition is a reflection of her commitment, her consistency, and the way she approaches the work day in, day out.
We’re excited to see her step into the final and share her work with the wider industry.
A brilliant achievement — and very well deserved.
Well done, Olivia

One Cast. One Voice.
In the industry, you walk into a room and you’re in it. No levels. No separation. Just a company of people all working to the same standard. You’re alongside those with more experience, seeing what’s possible but also supporting others as they develop.
At CAST Studio, that’s how we train. At the start of each week, the whole cast comes together. This is a chance for us to use your voices together and connect - as a team.
This is CAST Studio.

We’re thrilled to welcome @rachael_wooding to CAST Studio, on the 27th April, as part of our Learning From Legends masterclass series - and our students are incredibly fortunate to have the opportunity to work with her.
With leading roles in We Will Rock You, Les Misérables, Jesus Christ Superstar and the new musical Standing at the Sky’s Edge, Rachael’s career reflects a performer who has continually evolved with the industry - moving between iconic long-running shows and powerful new writing.
Her session connects directly to how we train at CAST Studio: learning through doing, guided by those actively working at the highest level. Rachael brings first-hand insight into sustaining demanding roles, navigating different styles of musical theatre, and the level of preparation and consistency required to deliver in both established productions and new work.
Students are incredibly lucky to be in the room with someone who has built a career on trust, reliability and performance at the highest standard. It’s a rare opportunity to learn from a performer who not only understands the industry, but continues to shape it through the work she chooses to be part of.

We are looking forward to welcoming @maiyaquansahbreed to lead our 20th April Legends & Icons workshop.
#Maiya is one of the defining performers of the contemporary musical theatre landscape, best known for originating Catherine Parr in Six. As part of a show that has reshaped modern musical theatre, she represents a new generation of performer - versatile, music-led and rooted in bold, contemporary storytelling.
Her session will be built around the workshop-style audition process used in Six, giving students direct experience of how current auditions are run. This places them in a practical, high-energy environment that reflects exactly what is expected in today’s industry.
Students will have the opportunity to prepare a pop song in the style of a Queen they would audition for, focusing on how to make strong, individual choices and present themselves clearly in the room. This work centres on audition technique, helping them understand how to approach material with confidence and precision.
The session will also explore key elements of audition preparation - from interpreting briefs to delivering under pressure - with real-time feedback that supports their development as professional performers.
The workshop will conclude with a Q&A, giving students the chance to ask direct questions about audition processes, expectations and building a career in contemporary musical theatre.

We’re delighted to be welcoming @jordanlukegage to CAST Studio, on the 13th April 2026.
Jordan is one of the most exciting and versatile performers working in the industry right now. With leading roles across the West End, including standout performances in & Juliet and Bonnie & Clyde, he brings a level of craft, discipline and consistency that sets a real benchmark for what it means to work professionally at the highest level. Alongside his performing career, he has expanded into writing and composition with his new musical Redcliffe, opening this month at Southwark Playhouse.
That shift from performer to creator of produced work is a powerful example for our students. It reinforces the idea that a sustainable career in this industry isn’t one-dimensional. It’s about taking ownership, generating your own opportunities, and understanding the wider creative landscape you’re part of.
What makes Jordan particularly valuable for our students is not just what he’s achieved, but how he works. He understands the demands of the industry today — the need for adaptability, resilience, and a strong sense of self within a collaborative environment. He’s a performer who has built his career through commitment to the process, not just the outcome.
For our students, this is an opportunity to gain direct insight into the realities of the profession. How to sustain performance standards over long runs, how to approach material with clarity and intention and how to navigate the transition from training into the industry with confidence.
This is exactly what CAST Studio is built on. #learningfromlegends who are doing the job now. Sessions like this aren’t an add-on - they are central to how we train.

After three remarkable years as RHCAST, we’re excited to share the next step in our journey.
RHCAST is evolving into CAST Studio - a collaborative training conservatoire designed to expand opportunities, partnerships and professional pathways for emerging performers.
From the very beginning, this venture was built on a shared belief: that training should sit in meaningful dialogue with the professional industry. That belief shaped RHCAST, and it continues to sit at the heart of everything CAST Studio represents.
Ruthie Henshall’s energy, belief, and advocacy have been instrumental in driving the organisation from its inception, and she will continue to play a vital role in the life of CAST Studio as a founder and leading ambassador - as well as a guiding voice, mentor and a driving force behind the next generation of performers.
We continue to be inspired by the level of talent emerging across the UK. The creativity, individuality and commitment we see from young performers is exceptional. Our training is built to nurture those voices and help artists develop varied and sustainable careers.
Over the coming months, we look forward to sharing what’s next - new partnerships, new opportunities and continued growth. Each step is designed to place students at the centre of their own journey and open up even greater opportunities for them.
As we look ahead to welcoming our next intake this September, the school enters its strongest chapter yet.
A new name.
An expanded vision.
The same commitment to exceptional artists.
Welcome to CAST Studio.

Training should reflect how the industry works. Performers don’t learn purely by sitting in a classroom - they learn by doing. That means practical training, understanding style across musical theatre, working with industry professionals and performing regularly in front of an audience. That’s where confidence, discipline and creative communication are forged.
The individual matters. Small cohorts mean every student is seen. This isn’t about fitting people into a mould - it’s about nurturing what’s already there, building confidence and unlocking real potential. Alongside technique, students develop a clear belief in who they are.
The goal is simple: to nurture performers who are ready. Not just trained, but experienced, self-aware and able to step into the industry and hold their own - trained by those who do it and ready to navigate the reality of their freelance career.

Learning From Legends
Performance is a craft. By training with working professionals, students learn not just theory, but the lived reality of the industry - following in the footsteps of those who’ve done it and learning through true mentor–apprentice relationships.

Nurture the Individual. Find the Potential.
Small cohorts mean every student is truly seen. With close, hands-on training, tutors shape each performer’s unique strengths — building confidence, protecting individuality, and unlocking real potential.
