“I’m just getting old. Not getting old…old.”
to restate the prompt:
I transcribed random non sequiturs and overheard conversations while down the shore last summer. I’m aiming to reframe these passing conversations by stripping them of their original meaning, and accompanying them with surreal illustrations. Not sure how many more of these there will be - I have a list, and want to get through all of them. This quote, taken out of context, is among the more esoteric and non-narrative.

I transcribed several non sequiturs and snippets I overheard from beachgoers while down the shore this summer.
I’m aiming to reframe these mundane conversations by accompanying them with surreal illustrations. It’s a fun challenge and a way for me to get out of my own head.
